USC's starting quarterback, Mark Sanchez, was carted from the practice field with an apparent knee injury. The injury occured without contact, collapsing as he planted to throw a pass. He was immediately scheduled for X-rays, and I'll bring you those results as quickly as they come in.
Sanchez was named the starting QB in the spring, beating out Mitch Mustain. If for any reason Sanchez can't go, the Trojans lose experience, but it's not much of a drop off in talent.
